Building Bridges in a Complex World

CHANIA, CRETE, GREECE | 6-8 July 2017

Georg Benjamin

My father’s family was Jewish but did not practice at all and considered themselves to be Catholics. In Nazi Germany, my father was the only one from his family, who survived with the support of his employer, who was hiding him for years. Working with unaccompanied minors from the Middle East reminds me every day how much history repeats itself.
